Bobby Mitchell Testimonial Matchday Programme Newcastle United v Bobby Mitchell's XI Monday 9th October 1961 In the 1961/62 season a huge crowd of 40,993 turned up at St James' Park to pay tribute to one of Newcastle's Uniteds favourite players from the 1950's, left winger Bobby Mitchell. He played in all 3 of Newcastle Uniteds Fa Cup Final triumphs in 1951, 1952 & 1955. He scored in the 1955 Final in a 3-1 victory over Manchester City. |
