The 1980s saw Liverpool win fourteen major domestic and European trophies under the guidance of three legendary managers: Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Kenny Dalglish. Liverpool started the decade riding high at the top of the League and continued to reign supreme in the following years, winning the Championship six times in ten seasons. A number of world-class players graced the Anfield turf during the eighties including Ian Rush, John Barnes, Alan Hansen, Peter Beardsley, Graeme Souness and Dalglish.
